  • Physio 4 Kids is an NDIS registered provider
  • We can assist NDIS participants who are agency managed, plan managed and/or self-managed

PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE

  • Claim a rebate through your private health insurer via our HICAPS terminal.
  • Rebates vary according to private health funds and your level of cover

BETTER START

  • Physio 4 Kids is a Better Start Registered provider
  • Children under 6 years of age who have an eligible diagnosis should be registered
  • Eligible diagnoses include cerebral palsy, deafblindness, down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome with full mutation, hearing Eligible diagnosis include impairment, sight impairment, Prader-Willi syndrome, Williams syndrome, Angelman syndrome, Kabuki syndrome, Smith-Magenis syndrome, CHARGE syndrome, Cornelia de Lange syndrome, Rett’s Disorder, Cri du Chat syndrome; or microcephaly

MEDICARE 10960

CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT PLAN / TEAM CARE ARRANGEMENTS

  • Medicare rebates are available for patients who have obtained a Chronic Disease Management Plan or Team Care Arrangements through their General Practitioner
  • Patient’s can access rebates for up to 5 visits per calendar year
  • Rebates of $52.95 (or 80% of the appointment fee if you have reached the Medicare Safety Net Threshold) are available for eligible participants

MEDICARE ITEMS FOR THE BETTER START FOR CHILDREN WITH A DISABILITY

  • Children who were eligible for Better Start can access the Medicare Items for Better Start if referred by their Specialist (137) or GP (139)
  • The child must have had a treatment and management plan prepared before turning 13
  • Patient’s can access rebates for up to 20 visits prior to turning 15
  • Rebates of $74.80

  • Children who were eligible for Helping Children with Autism funding can access the Medicare Items for HCWA if referred by their Specialist
  • The child must have had a treatment and management plan prepared before turning 13
  • Patient’s can access rebates for up to 20 visits before turning 15
  • Rebates of $74.80 of $52.95 (or 80% of the appointment fee if you have reached the Medicare Safety Net Threshold) are available for eligible participants
